De Quervain’s Stenosing Tenosynovitis – is a condition brought by irritation or inflammation of the wrist tendons at the base of the thumb. Also known as mommy’s wrist.
7. Wrist Tendonitis
Wrist Tendonitis is a very common symptom and almost everyone has felt the swelling located beneath the base of the thumb, pain when pinching your fingers together, squeezing, or performing other movements. Tendinitis tends to occur due to improper movement, weight lifting too often, etc. Inflammation that is very painful and can extend along your arm.
8. Heberden’s Nodes
Heberden’s Nodes – are hard or bony swellings that can develop in the distal interphalangeal joints (DIP) (the joints closest to the end of the fingers and toes).
